Building a MMORPG computer?

Hi all,
I am computer hardware illiterate and have never given much thought to it until now when I decided I want to build a computer from scratch. I truly enjoy MMORPGs and the occasional game like minecraft. Being so illiterate is a new feeling for me, so I figured I would ask the all powerful internet for knowledge. What would your suggestion be on things like video card, CPU, and how large of a hard drive I would need for multiple MMORPG? Also any helpful knowledge on the entire subject.
