Why is my minecraft doing this? - 1

So, I'm playing Minecraft on a server and I am a High Admin. I come online and I go about doing what i usually do which is to check server files and scout around for any greifing. I am about to ender MY home when I realise i cant open doors. I had to break in with blocks in order to get in. I have contacted the owner but she doesn't know what was wrong. Could someone explain? If you're asking about plug ins, we only have coreprotect, lwc and economy installed.
