I was considering making a youtube channel, and i am wondering, how do popular users like PewDiePie use video game footage in their youtube videos? Is there a difference between capturing your own footage (via capture card) and finding footage online (i.e. Finding a 10 second clip from a video game on youtube to use in your video)?
Added (1). I am asking more for the legal purposes, as I know gaming companies get very strict with the rules and stuff. I will probably own the console and game i record.
