I have minecraft 1.8, and so does my cousin, we wanted to play together and set up a lan world, the neither computer detects itthough, and if we type in the "local port" it says connection refused, its not firewall, i have it disaled on both PCs, i aslo try to make my own server,(a non LAN one)but when I connect using local host the connection refused?! I don't know what to do,regular servers work for e, just not LAN and my costom one, on my old computer I did LAN worlds…
Added (1). once when trying to make a server(this was multiple years ago) I tried making my dynamic ip a static one, or vise versa,cant remember and I failed,causing my computers internet to go out completely, i have no idea how I got It back,once again it was long ago and I cant remember, i think it was around that time all those things stopped working, dont know… Please help!
