Ok I was on minecraft pe (I'm getting Xbox 360 edition for Christmas) And I was wondering does the light from an active furnace stop mobs from spawning nearby? Say I'm in a cave with no torches left, could I smelt something in a furnace and the light stops mobs spawning? Also does glow stone stop mobs spawning? Thanks!
