AfterGlow HeadSet isn't working?

I am using my universal wireless afterglow head set on my laptop(windows 7) and it wont play the sounds. Well i can hear Skype through them but YouTube, minecraft, flash games… Are playing through my actual computer speakers so i can hear them but not through my head set. Please help.
