If I restart my WHOLE computer, can I somehow get my minecraft worlds back?

my computer is stupid. Whenever I turn it on, the background is black and I can't press anything. If I try to press the minecraft file on my desktop, nothing happens. I can't open anything. Even the little windows flag in the lower right corner won't work. I have to actually press the off button to turn the computer off. My dad is going to reset the whole thing but I'm afraid my minecraft worlds will be gone forever and I have one world that I DO NOT want to lose because I've worked super hard on it! Any tips?
