Minecraft keeps freezing and crashing whenever I try to save and quit?

Alright, before there's a riot in the answers about my computer not being good enough to run minecraft (which I doubt is actually possible), I know my hardware is more than sufficient. Im running an i7-4790k and a GTX 770… Now that that is out of the way…

I updated my java to the latest version multiple times, completely reinstalled the game, wiped all the files, and I still get the same freezing and crashing every time… Any ideas?
