How to advertise my minecraft server?

ok so I am mod on a new minecraft server, but almost nobody comes on anymore. The past few days more people have been getting on, but only for maybe a few hours then leaving and it is annoying. Is there a way to advertise better?

If you want to join it is a Prison / Factions server. 5 people come on daily, but we want more. The ip is [ play.mysticraft.net ]
