Why is everything so hard to download and run on unbunu?

I tried downloading google but it says theres something wrong with the package
and when i try to download minecraft it just opens up the file and no runable program and when i try to run steam even from the software store place it says it needs to install packages but it cant and for every one of these things i try to google how to fix but they all never work
Added (1). Also cant run online games because i cant get flash player to work
