Will the people at Gamestop update my Minecraft disk?

If I take my Xbox 360 Minecraft disk to Gamestop, will they update it for me? I dont have xbox live, and i cant afford to by an "adapter" (or whatever). When I bought the game, the pictures on the case showed the newest version, so I figured it WAS the newest version, but it wasn't. Would they (the people at Gamestop) be able to update the game (or the disk) for me? And if so, how much would it cost?
