Minecraft server changes loss in money?

Hi guys. Last year I purchased god rank on a server for 100 dollars. The god rank gave people creative mode on their islands and flying and stuff. Now they changed the owner of the server and they took away creative mode on islands and a bunch of other things and they are saying I cant get my money back and they will ban me if I speak about it. Is this llegal? Thr minecraft server is mcskylands.com
