Should i make edited Lets Play video's?

sometimes i feel like i want to make a let's play, but in a blind let's play there is so much downtime and idle boring stuff that i want to edit the video to keep the pace moving. My only concern is that i might turn my viewers off if it's too choppy since audio cues and stuff will make the editing obvious.

what do you guys think?
