Windows 10 crashing minecraft?

I recently updated my pc to windows 10 and it keeps crashing. Sometimes it will be a few minutes between the time I get on and the time it crashes or it could be an hour. I have a dell inspiron 15, the laptop is only 2 or 3 years old and had windows 8 when I got it and windows 8.1 before I updated to windows 10. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
