Could livestreaming and hosting a server at once take a lot of internet?

Im about to do my first stream with a few friends tommorow but I ve never streamed and hosted a minecraft server at the same time. We don t get any lag at all (although sometimes the internet restarts but rarely), and I m just wondering if also streaming would take a lot of internet power to go through, or it isn t as bad?
Added (1). Also, the way we talk to each other in the stream is super entertaining, but also super controversial if you can't "handle" them. Should I be concerned? I mean, I'm not exactly physically threatening anybody. Besides, all of our jokes are just jokes, not serious.
