What block goes good with white stained clay?

I'm building a fancy hotel on Minecraft and the primary wall material is white stained clay. What block would go good as a trim with white stained clay? I tried nether quartz, that just looks ugly and tacky, I tried stone, that just looks gross and sloppy. What block? And also, I'm designing the hotel pool, and I don't know what to make the ground around the pool of. I tried white stained clay and light grey stained clay in a checkered pattern, and it looks okay, but I don't want there to be too much stained clay, I want to mix it up a bit. I usually use stone as common concrete, but in this case, stone looks crappy and degrading. What block would make a good, upscale poolside ground besides stained clay?
