Hexxit doesnt run stable on my gaming PC?

Ive tried adjusting the settings, but nothing works. The game lags really badly for me but i can run other bigger 3a games on my computer. Whats the deal?
I can also run minecraft vanilla and with some mods installed in it, but i cant run the hexxit modpack. Help please
