Is It Possible to Salvage Anything from a Broken Xbox 360?

Our Xbox 360 recently passed due to the Red Ring of Death, and we replaced it with a new Xbox. However, all our data such as saved games, games, and map packs remained on the previous Xbox 360.

I cannot log in to my previous Xbox Live account, as the email address used to make that account has been deleted. I made a new account now. Finally, our previous Xbox 360 had a hard drive, while our new one does not.

So is it at all possible to salvage anything from our old Xbox? There was so much money put into games like Minecraft, and zombie maps for Call of Duty. I don't want all that to go to waste.

Is there any possible future where more money isn't spent?
