Is there a way I can get minecraft 1.8 blocks in minecraft 1.7.10?

I'm currently using Minecraft 1.7.10, because I love the mods that I can get with it, but I love the vanilla Minecraft new additions, like the slime block, prismarine, and sea lanterns. Is there a mod or something I could use to get those in Minecraft 1.7.10?
