Minecraft Difficulty Realm Change?

We'll I'm playing on this realm with my friends and it's on peaceful and I can't change it because my friends own the realm and they don't know how to change the difficulty either. I think it's on realm settings but I don't know because I don't have a realm. Please try to help:)
