About Minecraft PE Games?

So I've been playing survival games and team survival games for a long time and I just now realized that there are a lot more mcpe games than survival games. I know, real noob XD So can you guys tell me how to play Factions, Capture The Flag, PvP and other stuffs like that? Cause I joined the servers but I have no idea how to play.
