Mine craft won t let me change my skin?

I m on Minecraft.net and i want to change my skin so I put in my stuff, email and password and when I look in the corner where it says log in a register and stuff it doesn t say Minecraft name witch it should, I thought it might just be a small glitch and just wasn t showing my name but when I tried going to profile it took me back to log in I tried it on my other account too and It did the same thing I m not sure if I should restart my laptop or if its just being weird at the moment please help
