Minecraft survival gets boring Way too boring for me?

So I have been playing Minecraft since the Golden age of 2011, and it's sort of been like this since 2014. It usually happens like this: I get all prepared and excited for a new Minecraft world. I load it up. Within 15 minutes, I get bored and close the world. I see tons of YouTubers always have fun, and I want to be like that, but just can't find a way. NOTHING IS FUN. I haven't even found an artificial diamond before and I have been playing since 2011! I have never been to the End, or Nether. I don't get anywhere! And don't tell me to use mods, because they don't spice anything up for me. Am I just sick of Minecraft? Should I stop playing?
