Minecraft town building ideas?

I'm playing Minecraft Pocket Edition and I'm making a village into a town (in Creative mode), but I have no ideas for buildings.

I'd like to build things that have a use in Survival mode when I play that mode later.
So far I've got a bunch of houses, a clocktower and a tavern.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :)
(Ps. It's currently a sort of old, somewhat medieval town.)
