Minecraft mod using the Twitch app won't work?

I'm trying to play a Minecraft mod called Sky Factory that uses the Twitch app to run itself. The Title loads up, then I select my world, afterwards I get a loading screen indicating that my world is loading up, but then nothing happens! It just stays on the loading screen without loading anything and I can't play my game. I've updated Java and everything else should be up to date. My computer is pretty bad though. The framerate is Really low even when I'm looking at nothing. Can someone help me?
