Any solution for slow performances?

Hey. I kinda got all jacked up by this slow performance thingy. I mean, I still have tons of free spaces on my hard disk but every time I tried to play a game (take minecraft for example), my fps drops to below 20. Any solution for this kind of problem?

All my drivers and stuff are up to date and I had to change the appearance to the 'best performance' in order to get rid of the laginess ( doesn't work as well ). Thank you for taking your time to read this.
