Yesterday, I was playing some Tomb Raider in Ultimate graphics while downloading Murdered: Soul Aspect from uTorrent, while also playing Hearthstone on my second monitor, with my window closed and I didn't realise the fans were set to minimum. You see, some idiot decided to cap the download speed on my torrent at 100 kb/s so I let it download over night, and set the fans to minimum using MSI Afterburner so the they wouldn't keep me awake at night. The next morning I wanted to play some Dota 2, when something weird happened. I thought it was weird I was lagging, because I have what I like to call a pretty high-end PC. I thought "Ah, whatever, I'll just tone down the graphics to minimum", and I did just that. Still lagging, and we're talking like 5-10 cps. Obviously we lost that game. After that I thought I'd try playing some Minecraft to see if there was something seriously wrong. I had about 5-10 now as well, and at the lowest settings my rig barely managed 30fps. In the middle of playing, both my monitors turned off. The lights on my keyboard, headset and mouse were still alit, and the lights from my PC were going. My monitors were on, but were black. I tried restarting about 10 times, no success. I thought my graphics card was overheated, so I unplugged the PC and turned off the monitor for 3 hours. Then I turned it back on, and it worked for 15 minutes and the same thing happened. I tried this again, and I turned up the fans to about 60%, and it still happened. Any help?
