Is it weird for an adult to play minecraft?

Every time I go on youtube and look at minecraft videos I always see kids commenting. When I search minecraft on google I see kids playing it. I even see kids dressing up as steve from minecraft.

So what I'm wondering is it odd for an adult to like minecraft? I feel like the creepy adult who is into playing with kids toys. The whole thing that I found strange is that when I was a kid I would of probably looked at minecraft and said it was stupid. I became a lot more open minded as I got older.
