Minecraft: Why is this Villager following me everywhere?

Hi, I've on Minecraft improving a Village for the Villagers that live there and when I walk away to collect more materials a random Villager just keeps following me no matter where I go, I tried killing him but he just respawns back in the same places and continues following me, I've tried using Ender Pearls to teleport away bit he quickly appears near me, I've tried deleting the World, Save Data, my Xbox Account, I got new game and Hardrive but, he spawns in next to me and acts like he's in a village. How do I get rid of him as its got to the point I can't go mining for resources as he gets in my way and I have to help him get out. I haven't named him and I got no access to Xbox Live, Servers and I haven't got many friends so its not them, no Mods installed, and there is no-one ever in my world.
