Minecraft launcher/game not working?

ive been having problems with mc crashing on my mod profiles and on my regular profiles for a few weeks now, but it was becoming so frequent and so unbearable that i decided that maybe it was my outdated graphics driver (intel hd graphics 4000) and so i updated it but now its even worse. The launcher looks like this http://tinypic.com/r/n4t6zd/9 and so does the text in the actual game and crashes immediately or sometimes holds out and I am able to play but i am completely unable to read any text in chat or around me at all. Any help is truly appreciated~ thank you!
