How to recover deleted Minecraft save?

Today my friend deleted the Minecraft save with the build I spent 3 months working on. -_- I googled some tutorials on how to recover lost Minecraft saves but all of them required the world save folder to still be in the.minecraft > saves folder. Is there any possible way to recover the world if its save folder is no longer in.minecraft > saves? Is there any recovery software I could possibly download? I have Windows 10 if it helps. Thanks.
