Minecraft Survival Mode Building Ideas?

I play Minecraft PS3 Edition and I'm on survival mode, I have a pretty nice sized house with a basement and I've made a lighthouse and an igloo. I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas? Nothing too hard because I'm still learning. I would like to have more structures and not traps or anything like that. I've looked up some ideas, but nothing is really catching my eye so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, it would be nice if there was step-by-step photos and some details on how to build the structure. Thanks!
