Which i5 processor should I get?

I won't be hardcore gaming at all. I'll use my computer only for homework, YouTube vids, and MINECRAFT. I really love to play minecraft and I don't know what processor I should buy. I am a bit naive about this subject, I have an AMD something in the pc right now but it is quite slow at times. I'm looking into an i5 but I find them at very different price ranges some starting at $40 which is what I want to spend and others at $200+ which I will not spend. Any ideas on the processor I should buy?
