Is a GTX 940MX graphics card adequate for low-medium level gaming?

I ve been offered the chance to purchase my first gaming laptop for my birthday, (I m only 14 so I can t yet produce the funds for a good one) and I discovered the $550 Acer Aspire E-15 which contains a 940MX. I only plan on playing titles like SWTOR and other role playing games of the same level, Modded Minecraft, and possibly Overwatch. I don t plan on playing hit titles at all as I know I m not ready for this. Is this the best possible choice I can make for under $650? My parents won t seem to nudge towards anything over $650. Also, I ll be receiving this laptop after February 12.
