What games are there that people still play?

The most recent game I played was Minecraft like 2 years ago, and that bored the heck out of me so I stopped. I don't have any real games to play anymore. My XBox 360 broke years ago and I'm too cheap to get an XBox One because I feel they'll just come out with the new one immediately. I have a Mac, and I've been eyeing CS:GO, but I don't really have anyone to play with. I'm a 15 year old guy and I wanna start playing games again, but idek what is played anymore, and what games are even good.
