Minecraft: Optifine and NEI not working?

When i was using 1.6.4 all mods were working perfectly the i updated it to 1.7.2
Updated the magic launcher and even installed forge, chicken core mod but when i add Optifine the game shows loading world and whenever i try to add nei(Not enough Items) the game works but when i try to open any chest or my own inventory the game shuts down
This didn't happen before…
Can any one help me fix this?
