My brothers and I love playing Minecraft together. The only problem is that my brother with an Acer laptop is the only one who can host an LAN world for us to join. While me and my other brother, who own an Asus laptop, cannot create an LAN server for all of us to join.
First of all:
~ WeâÂÂre all using the same Minecraft version/ java version
~ WeâÂÂre all connected to the same network
~ When I open the world to LAN they say they can see it on the multiplayer list but it doesn't connect
Things IâÂÂve tried to do:
~ Troubleshoot Incoming Connections with minecraft.exe
~ Allowed Java to communicate through Windows Firewall (pic)
~ Created a new Inbound Rule to allow incoming connections
~ Port Forwarding is now set to my LAN IP and the Applied Rule is âÂÂForwarded Inbound TCP Ports 25565
Things it still says
~ Private networks: âÂÂNot connectedâÂÂ
~ Guest or public networks: âÂÂConnectedâÂÂ
I donâÂÂt know what IâÂÂve missed⦠Help is very much needed:(
