High performance gaming laptop but not high fps?

Processor 3.5 GHz Core i7-4720HQ
RAM 12 GB DDR3L SDRAM
Memory Speed 1600 MHz
Hard Drive 1 TB
Graphics processor NVIDIA Geforce GTX960M
These are my specs but, I run minecraft with the nvdia card and get on average 70-90 fps
