Verizon security suite blocking minecraft?

Every time I go to play on a minecraft server, it tells me that it can t connect. I think it might have to do with my Verizon security suite? How do I get it to let me play online? It s only on this computer, and I know the servers work because I tested them with another computer. It keeps saying it failed to connect: Group.
