New video game- is it Minecraft or World of Warcraft?

My boyfriend was talking about a video game with his friend yesterday. It hasn't come out yet and I wanted to see if I could pre order it for him as a Christmas gift (since I have NOOO idea what to get him lol) but I can't remember what the game is called hahaha it's either Minecraft or World of Warcraft. Are either of those coming out soon? Thanks!
