Graphic drivers supporting Minecraft peformance?

Lovely day! Ladies and gents, it s seems that i have a rather difficult question. So the question is updating graphic drivers, will the update boost the peformance for Minecraft.

Also i have another question, ladies and gents. So the question is, that i really wan t a peformance boost for Minecraft. Without having to use money, (Because that s the goal what i m gonna do:P) But i don t know, what will happen to my laptop if i did? Does it do "bad things" to my laptop if i update it?
