How to download the Copious Dog Mod for Minecraft on a Mac Computer?

I keep trying to download it from many different websites but overtime i do, it says The Java JAR file “Copious-Dogs-Mod-1.6.2.jar” could not be launched." and I'm not really sure what to do. Help?
