Minecraft needs more memory?

My minecraft keeps crashing and saying minecraft is out of memory. I installed mods from legacy mod pack but it's only a couple like minecraft comes alive, biomes o plenty, and treecapitator (so,etjong like that). I have the new version of java but idk about adobe… Uhm what can I do to play? I have the full game to play multiplayer also…
Added (1). How do i get more memory? I cant delete stuff cause its my mom and dads computer?
